In real-world South African conditions our installs typically perform beautifully for 10–15 years, often longer in shaded areas. The lawn looks essentially the same in year 8 as it did on day one.
All our products use heat-reflective WW yarn that runs roughly 30% cooler than basic flat-pile alternatives. In direct Western Cape summer sun the lawn will be warm to the touch — comparable to a paved patio — but never uncomfortably hot for bare feet or pets. Shaded sections stay perfectly cool.

A typical garden of 30–80m² takes 1–2 days from start to finish. Larger projects (200m²+) usually run 3–5 days. We quote a clear timeline upfront and we don't leave site until you're 100% happy with the finish.
Full Installation covers everything: site assessment, removal of existing lawn or surface, ground preparation with crusher dust base, geotextile weed membrane, the grass itself, professional joining with seam tape, securing along edges, and silica sand infill for stability. We hand over a finished, ready-to-walk-on lawn — no follow-up work required.
Full Installation is for soil/earth surfaces and includes all base preparation, drainage layer, and infill. Stick-Down is for existing hard surfaces like concrete patios, balconies, or screed — we glue the grass directly to the prepared surface. Stick-Down is faster and cheaper, but only suitable where you already have a flat solid base.
You can, but the difference between a DIY install and a professional install is enormous — especially around joins, edges, and ground preparation. Most DIY projects need redoing within 2 years. Our installation warranty (workmanship + materials) only applies to professionally installed lawns.
